Terminus

We use what we call a terminus fairly often.  

A terminus is defined as, “A final point in space or time.”

In architectural terms, this could be the end of a long hallway for instance.  At times, a blank wall at the end of the hallway is just fine. Other times you may want to draw attention down the hall to something interesting. This can be done with light, art, a bench or a piece of built-in woodwork. Or you could use a combination of these.  In the photo below, you can see a cabinet with some barn wood used above and lighted with an LED puck light which comes on automatically from dawn to dusk.
