A few weeks ago, in the last blog I talked about HVAC ductless systems
I wanted to show you an indoor air handler unit. Indoor units can come in many configurations: floor mounted, celling recessed, horizontal ducted and wall mounted. The most common is the wall- mounted design. There are many models to choose from, but we like the Mitsubishi FH series as it is a model with a lot of cool features. The FH system has a sensor that can scan the room and look for humans. This way it can either be set to direct air flow towards you OR away from you!
The unit delivers 100% heating capacity down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Did I mention these are extremely quiet in comparison with a forced air system or the water baseboards I referred to in my last post? The sound level of these units is 19-34 decibels which is less than a whisper: a whisper is about 30db.
Overall, the indoor units are not that noticeable in a room; they are fairly discreet. As I previously stated, maybe you should consider having us install one for you!
As you can see, the remote has many settings. With the "eye see" feature the unit can tell where you are in the room and direct air towards you or away from you.
