A lot of times you will hear us talk about the ‘good bones’ of a house and what that means. How the house is built is critical to a home lasting a long time with no issues.

This home located on Manito Boulevard has its own unique look. It was impressive to the eye but when the house was gutted, we came across some major structural issues. These issues are due to the original builder back in 1930’s not doing a good job. Just like today, back in the 1900s, there were good builders and bad builders. A lot of people say, “They just don’t build them like they used to.” In this case, we are thankful they don’t!

Bad structureThis 1930s home has terrible structure and bones. There is good builders and bad builders, just like back in the 1900s.
